The McHenry Lab studies how animals sense and move through their environment. We are especially interested in aquatic animals and mostly study fish. Our approach integrates mathematical modeling with experimentation and we invest a lot of our time developing novel techniques.
To assist in these efforts, our lab is always looking to recruit students and collaborators from the physical and biological sciences.
We are members of the Center for Comparative & Evolutionary Physiology, which is within the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine.
